Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 — Effective 3/3/2026

At JASFOTS we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to ensure the proper functioning of our editorial platform, improve your browsing experience, and analyze how you interact with our photo galleries and publications. This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, for what purpose, and how you can manage them.

1. What are Cookies? Cookies are small text files that websites save on your computer or mobile device when you visit them. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size, and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don't have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

2. Types of Cookies We Use at JASFOTS We classify the cookies we use into the following categories:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies (Technical): These are essential for JASFOTS to function correctly. Without these cookies, basic functions like page navigation, accessing secure areas (if you have a photographer account), or operating our contact forms or contests cannot be provided. These cookies do not require your prior consent and cannot be disabled in our systems.
  • Performance and Analytics Cookies: These allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our editorial. They help us know which curations, Journal articles, or galleries are the most (or least) popular, and see how visitors move around the site. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Functionality Cookies: These allow the platform to remember choices you make (such as your username, language, or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features, such as remembering if you have already seen a subscription pop-up.
  • Third-Party Cookies: On some of our pages, we may embed third-party content (e.g., Vimeo/YouTube videos in the Journal, or social media sharing buttons). These third parties may set their own cookies on your device. JASFOTS has no control over the configuration of these cookies, so we suggest you check the websites of these third parties for more information.

3. How Long are Cookies Kept?

  • Session Cookies: These are temporary and are deleted from your device the moment you close your web browser.
  • Persistent Cookies: These remain on your device for a period specified in the cookie itself (usually a few months up to a maximum of two years) or until you manually delete them.

4. How Can You Manage or Disable Cookies? You have full control. You can manage your cookie preferences in two ways:

  • A. Through our Configuration Panel: You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" button [HERE WILL BE A LINK OR FLOATING BUTTON TO YOUR COOKIE MANAGER/CMP] located at the bottom of our website.
  • B. Through Your Browser: Most browsers allow you to refuse or accept cookies, as well as delete them. Please note that if you disable technical or functional cookies, some areas of JASFOTS may not function properly, or your visual experience may be affected. Here are the links to manage cookies in the most common browsers:
    • Google Chrome
    • Apple Safari
    • Mozilla Firefox
    • Microsoft Edge

5. Updates to this Policy We may update our Cookie Policy occasionally to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

6. Contact If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at jugandoaserfotografo@gmail.com.
